Dog and King Records is proud to announce the official relaunch of the complete recorded works of Daisy Ricochet, the explosive early-2000s New York rock project led by songwriter and vocalist Neil Cabana. After nearly two decades out of print, the band’s cult-classic debut Need – The Mini LP (2004) will return in 2026 in a multi-format reissue campaign, including original CD stock, a first-ever vinyl pressing via Elasticstage (coming soon), and a newly remastered digital edition arriving later in the year.

Originally recorded in New York City and produced by Cabana, Need captured a powerful combination of melodic songwriting, emotional intensity, and driving guitars. The recording featured Matt Prine on lead guitar and backing vocals, Joe Magistro on drums, and Leo Gilmore on bass, rounding out a lineup that quickly gained underground attention for its raw honesty and dynamic, hook-driven performances. Paul Wilkins took over drumming for live performances.

Later in 2026, Dog and King will release a newly remastered edition of Need, offering upgraded fidelity and expanded packaging drawn from the band’s archives, including unreleased photos and historical notes.

“Daisy Ricochet was the spark that set a larger creative journey in motion,” says Cabana. “The songs still feel alive. It’s the right moment to finally present the complete story — the record people know, the record nobody has heard, and the one that now gets its definitive edition.”

The Daisy Ricochet relaunch represents a rare and meaningful restoration of an early-2000s New York rock document — a moment preserved, resurfaced, and made whole for the first time.
