Shipped in the US from the US, this UK release of Need is the 2004 debut from New York rock band Daisy Ricochet, led by songwriter and vocalist Neil Cabana. Built on melodic songwriting, driving guitars, and emotionally charged lyrics, the record blends urgency with introspection in a raw early-2000s alternative rock style. Need captures a moment of creative tension and vulnerability - direct, unpolished, and deeply human. Reissued by Dog and King Records, the album preserves the original masters and artwork while reintroducing a cult favorite to a new generation of listeners.

Originally recorded in New York City and produced by Cabana, Need captured a powerful combination of melodic songwriting, emotional intensity, and driving guitars. The recording featured Matt Prine on lead guitar and backing vocals, Joe Magistro on drums, and Leo Gilmore on bass, rounding out a lineup that quickly gained underground attention for its raw honesty and dynamic, hook-driven performances. Paul Wilkins took over drumming for live performances.
